This bright home in the suburbs was built to be an oasis for an active couple moving-and-grooving from the city.
They left the city for the suburbs, but brought the bright, open aesthetic with them.
They were drawn to the suburbs for its respite… not its typical design choices. Opting for a custom home allowed them to get the best of both worlds–the interior style they loved in the city, plus the additional square footage and outdoor space they had to leave it for.

Less can definitely be more.
In this house, lighting is concealed but crucial, the stairs double as a work of art, and simple-does-it with few exceptions (like a sparkling water faucet… because why not?).
A minimal palette paired with thoughtful details make for the perfect sanctuary.
